1Day (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the 1day.io website and property management platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:
Information you provide
- Account details (name, email address, password)
- Property information (hotel name, number of rooms, location)
- Billing information (processed securely via our payment provider; we do not store card numbers)
- Guest records you create within the platform (names, contact details, booking history)
- Support communications
Information collected automatically
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits)
- Device information
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the 1Day platform
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, invoices, password resets)
- Provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
- Send product updates and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your guest data for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
While we take security seriously and implement appropriate safeguards, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export anything you need.
Third-party services
We use a number of trusted third-party services to operate 1Day. These include payment processors, email delivery providers, hosting infrastructure, and analytics tools. Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
When you connect 1Day to a booking channel (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia), reservation data is exchanged with that channel as necessary to sync availability and bookings. This is core to the service.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to our retention obligations)
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Export your data in a portable format

Children's privacy
1Day is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of 1Day after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
